Sumer, Babylon, and Assyria

The dawn of civilization according to scholars was in the area known as Mesopotamia. In my view it was more likely that other civilizations (Atlanteans) made their way into the area of Mediterranean (and into the Yucatan in the east) and established themselves by blending in with the native cultures of the areas, around them, or creating a new one.

This work was constructed using the symbols, colors, and iconography from this area of the world as it existed 6,000 years ago. The seals and images used are all from the 4th to 2nd millennium BC., and reflect the high art of the period used in the Ishtar "Processional Way" in Babylon and also in the city of Ur, where astrology thrived. Cuneiform writing was used then (sample below). Also shown are metal sculptures of male and female Snake people from the same period. This is where the cone shaped hat or head of the "wizard" archetype started that has been passed down through history. It was the sign of divinity and high spiritual status (seen later in Egyptian and Mayan cultures). Click here for FAQS on their myths and legends The Assyro-Babylonian Mythology FAQ .
