Horus the Egyptian falcon god, here enthroned as the god of the sun and the son of the goddess Isis. Above him is a representation of his eyes, which were a powerful symbol in Egyptian magic. Usually a sign of protection. The "wedjet" eye is on my book cover "The Integrated Astrological Guide" in the center of the symbol for the star of Arcturus, known by the Egyptians as the "Coming one" or the one who rules. 12x16 oils in complement (using only red and green and mixtures of them) on canvas board, Fall 1999 SDSU.
